The founders of OZjobz, JL & MA Lord, May Downs station, Queensland have been living and working in the Rural Cattle Industry for over 30 years. Due to the large numbers of people who  contact them for work, they have created the classifieds board specifically to help link more people up in the Regional and Rural areas of Australia. Government statistics for Queensland show that more than 55% of the population live outside its capital city Brisbane.  35% of people live in regional areas and our remote and rural areas account for 20% of the population.

No two rural communities are the same but generally speaking there is usually a very relaxed and friendly lifestyle to be found in remote and regional areas.
